Spot on analysis! Lowering our standard of living by trying to implement Net Zero policies is pure insanity. You’re so right! Without the aid of modern machinery and technology all of which are possible with some type of derivative of hydrocarbons these natural disasters would be exponentially worse. Keep putting the truth and common sense information out there and eventually enough people will begin to understand the reality. Summer camping for months was so much fun! Greatly enjoyed your stories and the lessons from them.

Damn you built some nice cabins!

Thanks for putting some comparative data in for the SK bush. It’s amazing how much publicly available data is there for all to see but the narrative is what people remember.

You’re doing great work on Substack. We always eagerly await your posts. Keep it up!

Thanks 'Mental! I tried to find a cabin photo without all those ugly plastic chairs scattered around. My sister sent me one today, so I may edit and republish with the new photo. It's a little better.

ok i admit just skimmed, but why decarbonization. carbon is what we are, co2 is plant food. petroleum makes life pleasant, why the stupid; i am flummoxed.

I think the term "wildfire" needs to be eliminated from our vocabulary. They are forest fires. Always have been and always will be. MSM loves hyperbole. We shouldn't play along. Otherwise, great post.

Good point. I'll take it to heart. It's like when they come up with terms like "Superstorm Sandy," and we're all supposed to follow their lead and provide endless hype for the climate grift.

Thanks Trevor. I was hoping you wouldn't take it as criticism and you didn't. Phew... relieved. I'm Canadian also (SW Ontario). I have been to Lafayette once and loved it. To New Orleans many, many times including last fall when we walked the neighbourhoods. A lovely place. I would emigrate to the US in a heartbeat if I could. The value Americans place on freedom is enviable. I think it is only a matter of time before the border disappears. It will be a good thing. Keep up the excellent writing. It is appreciated.
